Patch or Glue testing
Certain treatments require a mandatory patch test before the appointment.
- 24-hour patch test required for: Tinting, Waxing, HIFU, Laser Hair Removal, and Laser Hair Rejuvenation.
- 48-hour patch test required for: HD Brows, Henna Brows, Infinity Brows, Cosmelan Treatment, any Skin Peel Treatment, LVL (Lash Lift), and Hair Colour.
This helps ensure your safety and avoid any allergic reactions before proceeding with the treatment.
Additional Hygiene Guidance for Waxing
Avoid heat treatments, sunbeds, jacuzzis, exercise, or swimming less than 8 hours before or 24 hours after waxing. Avoid delicate underwear for bikini waxing and deodorants after underarm waxing.
Eyelash Extension
Eyelash extensions are not for everyone. This is a high-maintenance beauty treatment that requires gentle care for the lashes to remain in good condition and be long-lasting. Once the lashes are attached, you must not rub or pull on them. You must not wear any mascara or use eyelash curlers. Please click here to read and understand all the information.
Eyebrows / Eyelash Tint
A skin patch test is required for new clients 24 hours before the appointment. Please inform us if you are pregnant, have allergies, or have experienced previous allergic reactions.
Shellac Polish
No guarantee is offered for Shellac polish. Only 3 days courtesy repair will be offered (Only if you can visit in 3 days). Clients must check nails before leaving the salon, as we cannot accept liability for issues reported later.
General Treatment Advice – Very Important Information
Food – Always allow at least 1 hour to digest your meals before having treatments.
Alcohol – Never consume alcohol before any treatment.
Medical Conditions – If you have any of the following it is essential to tell your therapist before your treatment as some electrical treatments are prohibited if you suffer from these conditions :
Pacemaker, Heart Condition, Diabetes, Allergies, Epilepsy, Contact Lenses, Pregnancy
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months, non-refundable, and non-transferable. They are redeemable for treatments only at Adorn Beauty salons and not for over-the-counter products, including Dermalogica products.
